Retired Mental Health professional, ex-Army I started to learn the banjo in High School during the early 1970's. A flood that destroyed a large area of the town I was living in at the time including the residential area that my instructor was located in. After retiring, I decided that returning to the 5- string banjo was the least inappropriate bad habit I could pick up.
