I have just got a new iMac and I'm trying to get my head around it. I must say it is like when you upgrade your banjo from your basic cheap one (good enough to start on we all have done that) to when you get your super banjo, it almost plays itself. Well the same with this computer, it is super fast, can be frustrating at times but, a pleasure to work with.
I have been updating the East Anglian Bluegrass Festival website www.eabg.org.uk if you don't already know it is held in a very pretty village, Steeple Morden in South Cambridgeshire and this year will be the 17th. Dates are 21 -23rd June 2013, camping, caravans, food drink, toilets, showers (not the rainy type). Friday & Saturday evening concerts, workshops, pickin' and jam sessions, a great family and friendly festival. Great bands on through both concerts, what more do you need!!
So if you've not been before come along, and if you have an instrument, best ones are banjo, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bass, resophonic guitar, but other instruments such as autoharp, harmonica, accordians have been known.
I know it is far easier to play banjo than it is to learn lots of computer jargon!
Hope to see you at some of the festivals over this year
Take care
Phill
