Started out on the violin as a child, futzed around with a ukulele and guitar/piano for some years before picking up the saxophone as my real side instrument. Stopped playing music almost entirely in college. Picked up the clarinet last year to revive my woodwind days, and I more recently started on the tenor banjo (CGDA) because, at the end of the day, I think most naturally in 5ths tuning. Feeling good about the tenor banjo and hoping to stick with it.
