Started really learning Clawhammer in the early 80s, haven't looked back. Taught for a short time at Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music, West Suburbs extension, and have given private lessons. Used to play at Chicago area open stages, coffeehouses, some dances, etc, but I'm just a back porch picker, not a performer... I just like playing for fun any more, incorporating old-time and more modern "folk" songs...
