I have been playing clawhammer old time banjo for two-three years. When I started I never expected it to inspire me the way it now does. I play/practice daily and can't think of much else I like doing better. About a year ago Will Fielding taught me how to make banjos. It's like I have found my calling. I love to build banjos and banjoleles and am getting a really positive response to my instruments. I feel so grateful when I hear how my instruments inspire other musicians, especially young singer/songwriters. Oh yeah... This is a bio... I am in my 50s and born and raised in California where I live now. I am married and have two daughters. For work I am an archaeologist and a writer.
