Well we just got home off the road. It was a short week for a change. Played down in louisville KY at forest fest. Got to finally meet Arthur Hatfield in person. What a nice guy! Also got to spend a little time with Cherryholmes. That was great. They are so down to earth. Got some pics to put up when I get the chance. Cia girl you are AWSOME! If you have not seen there live show get to one! On our way down we stopped in at First Quality Music. First time down there in a while but still great friendly service. Didnt have as much time as I would have liked but then again I could spend all day in there. Jeff was great he took us back in the shop and was showing us all the new stuff and how it is being made. They have some real cool ideas going on right now. I played the new prototype upgradeable banjo and it was nice. All in all a real good weekend. Now we get some time off until Bean Blossom. So I can catch up on my BHO time LOL. C ya all later.

I grew up in a gosple bluegrass band that has been together for 30 YEARS!!! called the shiveley family. I traveled all over the eastern usa with them until my senior year in high school. I started playing lead guitar and singing harmony with the willing vessels out of lebanon ohio. I left them after high school to attend college in nashville. After college i began the idea of starting my own group. I played banjo for the backwoods boys for a while. I left them to play for another group that was very good but it just didn't work out due to our shedules clashed really bad. So all that being said I have recently been hired by the Wild wood valley boys to play banjo!!! I am super excited. This is the first professional band I have played for. Should be loads of fun and WOW these guys are super talented. Finally gonna be able to make some money doing a job I LOVE!!! I am now the newest endoreser for Hatfield Banjos!!!! If you havent played one you are missing out on the BEST and most reasonably priced Pro banjos on the market! Check them out you wont be sorry...
