I have been married to Dave for 32 years and we have 2 sons. I became interested (obsessed) by bluegrass about 7 years ago when I first saw a show at the Pennyroyal Operahouse in Fairview, Ohio. My very favorite band is The Rarely Herd. I have been learning to play guitar for 5 years and the banjo for 2½ years. I am told that I am progressing very well, but like most others, I feel that I am not learning fast enough--especially the "fast" part! The Hangout has been very helpful in many ways from information to encouragement.
