  1969 to present:     full time Professional Guitarist   1964 to present:     Guitar Teacher   STUDIES   Guitar with Lenny Frank, Myron Weiss, Joe Pecora, Johnny Cresci and Gene   Bertoncini;  Arranging and Orchestration with Don Sebesky;  Tenor Banjo with   Alan Cary and Jack Hotop;  Five-String Banjo with Roger Sprung, Mike Kropp and Tony Trischka; and   Conducting with Jackie Presti.   ACCOMPANIST -  CONCERTS/RECORDINGS,   starting in 1969 with a record act, Oliver [hit records: “Good Morning Starshine” and   “Jean”];  and since then with Ellen Kaye, Elly Stone, Marvin Hamlisch, Eartha Kitt, Bernadette   Peters, Joel Grey, Carole King, Kristin Chenoweth, Gregory Hines, Maurice Hines,   Wayne Brady, Ben Vereen, Ann Hampton Callaway, Regina Carter, Regis Philbin,   Nell Carter, Maureen McGovern, Eleanor Reissa, Sally Mayes, Cy Coleman, Ann   Reinking, Tony Randall, and the Queens Symphony Orchestra; done many recordings over the years, including the original Broadway cast album of   Cats, jingles and industrial shows.   TELEVISION WORK   The Letterman Show, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Variety Club   Fund Raiser, Today Show, Sesame Street [Substitute Guitarist].   THEATER/BROADWAY   As official Guitar Teacher for The “Sound of Music” [1998-1999], taught Rebecca   Luker, Laura Benanti, and Richard Chamberlain how to play “Do Re Mi” and   “Edelweiss.”   Papermill Playhouse:  Anything Goes; Victor, Victoria; Funny Girl; A Chorus Line;   Annie; and Hello Dolly.  Other regional theaters:  The Threepenny Opera, Always   Patsy Cline, A Chorus Line, Roadside, Footloose, and Godspell.   Guitarist in Cats for 18 years, and the orchestra house contractor for the last 10 years   Of the run;  Substitute Guitarist on Broadway in West Side Story [1980], 42nd Street   [both productions 1980 and 2001], The Full Monty, and Bring Back Birdie.   Co-produced, with Jackie Presti, the cd “ You Oughta Be on Broadway:  A Richard   Rodgers Collection for Ladies of All Ages,” featuring  performances by Penny Fuller,   Liz Callaway, Brigid Brady, Nadine Isenegger, Sally Mayes, Anne Runnollfsson, and   others, along with the same recorded tracks without vocals so to allow women and \   girls to sing along. C0-produced with Ellen Kaye and Seth Goldman, Ellen Kaye’s cd Ice Wine—songs for Christmas and dark winter nights.   - COMPOSITIONS  Currently composing music for Old Bones Odyssey, in collaboration with Ellen Kaye. Composed music for The Black Russian, musical theater piece in collaboration with Vladimir                  and Sybil Alexandrov (lyrics and book).  In collaboration with Joel Froomkin and Peter Morris [book and lyrics], composed   music for The Red Badge of Courage, a show currently in development and which   had a reading at the York Theatre in 2003;   Composed music for Radical, currently in development, in collaboration with   Donald Wollner;   Composed music for the blues/rock band, Men Without Hope, and wrote songs with   Donald Wollner, including the unknown hits, “I’m Bald” and “God Is a Dentist.”   DANCE BANDS   Lester Lanin, Peter Duchin, Steven Scott, and many others   JAZZ BANDS   Vince Giordano, the Nighthawks, and many others;   Founding Member of Threeba, with Sam Pilafian
