These are two of my original tunes that I used for musical scoring for clips from the classic Buster Keaton silent comedy, "The Paleface." Keaton plays a lepidopterologist who wanders into an encampment of Native Americans who have been ordered to vacate by white tycoons. I posted the videos sometime back, but removed them when howls of racism erupted from certain individuals, many of whom do not hesitate to post tunes like "Cotton-Eyed Joe," or "Lost Indian," or "Jolly Darkie." No disparagement of any racial, ethnic, or cultural group is intended. I do not think Buster Keaton intended any either.

I have been playing music for over 50 years. I have lived and played in bands in East Tennessee, Virginia, New Orleans, and back in Tennessee. For the past several years I have focused on writing and recording.
