Guitar. Have had a banjo 30 years but never got anywhere on it. I keep hearing clawhammer banjo and it sounds so cool. And I tell myself it CAN'T be THAT hard. But it is. For a guitarist, picking DOWN is counterintuitive. Somebody make me a DVD: "Banjo for Guitar Players."
Favorite Bands/Musicians:
Gillian Welch and David Rawlings. Carolina Chocolate Drops. And a few dozen other people. I'm a staggery guitar player, a beginning banjoist, but as a fan of live music, I'm world class.
