I've been playing banjo (drop-thumb style) since 1969, and fiddle (mainly Missouri style)since 1980. Was a columnist for the Banjo Newsletter from 1996 - 2003, and have done occasional reviews and interviews since then. Have released three CDs: "Drop-Thumb 21 Clawhammer Banjo Solos" (with tab book) available from Elderly Instruments "Cotton Blossom-19th Century Banjo Tunes, Clawhammer Style" (with tab book) available from Elderly Instruments "The Old Blue Tick: Fiddle Tunes From Missouri" (out of print)
