Possibly stolen Recording King Elite 76

I've come across a Craigslist ad for a Recording King Elite 76 banjo with case that causes me many concerns.  The pictures, that are poor quality, depict a very new banjo.  The seller claims it is basically a brand new banjo that has never been played.  I'd love to get a great deal, but there are many red flags that I won't go into here.  The seller is either a complete idiot who doesn't have a clue how to market a banjo, or this banjo is hot.

So has anyone had a brand new, or very near to brand new, Recording King Elite 76 banjo stolen?
