Cello Banjo World

Thursday, September 6, 2012

Greetings Banjo Friends

Well I'm finished with summer concert work and ready to get back into some Internet fun with cello banjos. I'm looking forward to uploading more videos with the Gold Tone CEB-5 and CEB-4, the five and four string versions. My CEB-4 was just optimized and I'm enjoying it in cello tuning, and capoed on the 7th for GDAE.

My interest in cello banjos is twofold: I'm a cello banjo specialist and dealer for Gold Tone - and it's my favorite instrument.

Here's an endorsement from Wayne Rogers, president of Gold Tone:

"Occasionally, a Gold Tone dealer takes a special interest in a particular product and gives it his all. Paul Roberts of has set up his site featuring our cello banjos and has provided history, interviews, playing techniques, collections of music and videos, and a wealth of information on the specifications. If you’re interested in learning more about cello banjos, visit and talk to Paul who is an authority on this special instrument.” Sincerely yours, Wayne A. Rogers
