I started playing banjo a few years back. At the time I thought three-finger picking was all there was. But it didn't take long for my eyes (and ears) to be opened to the rich musical stylings of the old timey style. So I tore the back off my beater bluegrass banjo and started wailing away. This love of the music and a lifelong calling to make objects of permanence and meaning led me to start crafting banjos under the Bad River name.
