Hello out there,
A few years ago I bought a second hand banjo that came with a good quality hard shell case. It still looks really nice inside & out. Unfortunately the glue used for the plush lining in it never adhered properly. It is always sticky. Even after leaving it open for a long time attempting to dry it out, the tackiness never changes. I can easily pull the lining away from the sides. I just push it back in place. It never sets. Fortunately no ill effects on my banjo when it's placed inside, but it is kind of weird. Has anyone ever had this experience before? Can anything be done to fix it?
