Burnsville Banjo Camp was Great

Thursday, November 19, 2009

Had a great time at the banjo camp.  Met Terry Baucom.  He gave us all his DVD, "Driving with the Duke".  He also instructed on "drive" and "scruggs licks".  This guy is a super talent and Great Picker.  Makes it look so easy.  He is smooth.

Judy Townsend couldn't find a comfortable nickel silver fingerpick so she designed and manufactured her own. Starting with Little Maggie fingerpicks and then adding Old 97s, she found the finest german nickel silver at Hagstoz in Philadelphia. You can purchase Old 97 finger picks or Little Maggie finger picks on Banjohangout. Made in the U.S.A. See classified ads, banjo accessories, picks.
