Well I just have to promote the banjo in UK ... I ain't giving up and I am into my third free monthly issue of Bluegrass Seeds Banjo magazine... May 2009 hardcopy issue is free and there is an online edition on our web-site www.bluegrassseeds.co.uk
Now I happen to reckon that Pete kelly is one fine banjo picker and a real nice bloke also. Having had him over here a couple of times I asked him via e-mail if he would do a question and answer interview?/ Pete was courteous and helpful and the interview was written up and its there for folks to peruse as well as a couple of tabs and sound files . One is a Tom Adams inspired Cripple Creek in C (that man is amazing!! when it comes to the banjo.. my hero) and the other is my own arrangement of Ashokan Farewell (in G) ...
Ladies & Gentlemen of banjo-hangout .. feel free to use/comment /ignore or whatever .... but doing this mag. does keep me off the streets anyway!!!
Cheers .. have a great banjo pickin' day
