45 year old music fanatic and performer who writes, records and performs as Dominic G. Ward and previously wrote, recorded and performed as the English Folk Duo, Maeran. I have recently got into banjo making and have designed and built a prototype banjo which clocks in at half the weight of a standard bluegrass, tensions in double quick time and knocks spots of my expensive Recording King. I live in Sedgley, West Midlands, England and am about to start my own banjo making company 'Hilly Bod Banjos'. I am patenting a new pot design and tensioning system which will radically alter the way banjos can be made.
