I have been playing music my whole life, but hadn't picked up a banjo until this year (2025). I became acquainted with true Americana/American folk music through my children's homeschool education, fell in love with the likes of Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie, and haven't look back since! I am hoping to learn about banjo-pickin' and to meet some friendly banjo-pickers along the way. Personally, I am married with four children. Vocationally, I am an ordained deacon in the Orthodox Church of America. Occupationally, I am an office administrator and lumber buyer for a kiln-drying facility.
