I’m a dock worker on the East coast of the UK, and have worked in and around ships for the last 16 years or so. I’m a self-taught musician, mostly playing OT American music, but lately I’ve been expanding my repertoire of tunes from the British Isles. My banjo ‘expertise’ is in OT/clawhammer, although I started my banjo journey as a bluegrass player, so have some residual knowledge of that world too. I’m happy to correspond with anyone who wants to correspond, whether it’s on matters of technique or repertoire or simply to shoot the breeze, and I’ll occasionally post in the public forums if I feel I have something worthwhile to say. Think that’s it… Happy picking everyone!
