Minister since 1985, Trying to pick the banjo since I was about 8, with several years off in between. Sold my first banjo to get married along with my only deer rifle. Worked as a transmission mechanic for 15 years, retired in 99 to a life of picking after I made all the money I needed. Now I just travel, pick, eat BBQ and record a little with the www.bruceweeksfamilyband.com which can pretty well run without me. But like I tell them "The whole dang opry would fall apart without me" LOL. Somehow I've been blessed with a great family and a bunch of good help that keeps the show on the road and everybody seems happy and we don't have no problems. Ofcourse I owe all of this to Jesus Christ and what He did on the Cross for me. Bruce You can also find us at www.myspace.com/bruceweeksfamilyband
