We all love to share the banjo joy, but traveling with a big heavy banjo can be an (expensive) pain. Member Katy Nollman recently asked for recommendations for a travel-sized mini openback 5-string banjo, and lots of helpful members shared their thoughts! Check out the thread and chime in yourself.

Longtime member Shawn Spiars has shared numerous licks and song recordings on YouTube, and today we feature one he calls "Banjo Lick #777". This is a favorite of Shawn's... a D lick that resolves to a G chord.
