More About Me
I currently run a small, one-person shop specializing in custom open back banjos (Buckeye Banjos). I love the ornamentation of late Victorian era banjos, as well as the elegance and simplicity of well crafted banjo with minimal ornamentation.
After making custom banjos for almost 10 years, I recently, decided to close my order list because it had grown to almost four years and I simply couldn't keep up with demand. I'm going to finish the custom orders that I already have and then switch things up and focus on making banjos of my own design. I hope to make a mix of semi-standard models with minimal ornamentation, some more highly ornamented, classically inspired banjos, and probably a few contemporary, nature inspired, creations.
