A really nicely made 7-string by Matthew. It has a 27" scale with the accompanying clarity and volume. Probably an example of a late-manufacture 7-string, the date c.1895 is only an informed estimate. I'm wondering if the style of maker's button may more precisely give us the date of manufacture? No serial number, simply the numeral 2 stamped on the inside of the rim and the perch pole.
