About this Banjo Challenge:
This month's contest isn't based on a particular song, playing style, or alternate tuning. Instead, we're focusing on location. Submit a video of you playing any song in an unusual place--at a famous public location, alone at the top of Everest--whatever you'd like! The stranger the location the better--and good picking is always a plus as well!
Prizes: 1st place prize is a Tranjo Express II travel banjo (this month is Tranjo's 10th anniversary, so they're sponsoring this Challenge to celebrate!) 2nd place gets a quick-release strap from Morgan Monroe, Shubb capo from Elderly Instruments, plus 5 sets of strings, a headstock tuner, a Pro Winder and a headstand from D'Addario. 3rd place gets a Lakota Leathers strap, a myBanjo 3-way key wrench, and a custom bridge from DC Banjoworks.
