Jerry Sloan Tone Ring
Posted By: Ceres Banjo Works (+92) | Rate Member
This banjo started life in the 60's as a Gibson RB-100 with the thinner black rim. Now this 100 has a full thickness 3-ply rim from Jimmy Cox who supplied rims to Gibson along with being fitted with a Sloan 20-hole tone ring. The hardware was all updated with Prucha which also supplied Gibson with hardware. The neck at some point had a sliding 5th string capo and now has spikes installed. It ships in a hard case and It's a hoss.
