Description
This banjo was the precursor to the Deering Sierra and is absolutely a quality banjo. This is All Original other then a new Window Tailpiece which is really an upgrade. This is clean and has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse and includes a new Guardian Hardshell Case.
This has a mahogany neck and resonator with a rosewood fretboard with dots. The hardware is nickel and other then the tailpiece is all original. This has a one piece flange and a Deering No Hole Tone Ring which creates some nice pop and good volume. This is a quality banjo sold at a killer price.
Condition
This is in fantastic shape. The metal looks great and the finish on the wood is clean as well. The frets and fretboard are in in great shapes with spikes at frets 7,8,9 and 10. The case is clean as well.
Set Up
This is set up with a Remo frosted head which is set to 90. The bridge is a no name but quality and the strings are Huber and this also is a super player. This banjo has a lot of pop and is set up to be a thrill to play. This is a really good example of an American Made Banjo at a great price.
