I'll also include the original bridge, fiberskyn head and no knot tailpiece so it can be used with steel strings (or if you want, I'll reinstall them and put steel strings on).
This banjo was my "starter banjo" and when I upgraded, I decided I wanted a "different" flavor, so I bought the new bridge and tailpiece and put the nylon strings on it.
I later bought the skin head for another banjo I would up selling and decided to put it on this banjo. When I went to install the head, I realized the hooks were awful, so I bought new hook hardware.
It turns out, that while I love the sound of a nylon string banjo, I hate the way nylon string banjos sound when I play them. This banjo gets no playing time, and I need the proceeds to fund a new project.
If you want this as a nylon strung banjo, I'll leave it as is. If you want this as a steel strung banjo, I'm happy to convert it back for you. Either way, I'll send the extra head, tailpiece and bridge with it.
There are a couple of things I want to call your attention to... there is a small cosmetic blemish in the binding near the 5th string tuner. There is also a little knick in the skin head, but the head is not punctured. It's hard to describe, it's like I hit it with my nail and it left an impression. You can see the binding blemish in the picture fairly easily. I guess it's not so much a blemish as much as a little piece is missing. The head knick is very difficult to see.
A strap is included.
