1927 Gibson MB-2 Conversion - FON 8850-18
Very good condition - new, professionally made straight grain maple neck, original pot assembly with 3-ply rim (10.5"), 1/2" tone tube, refinished (matching) original resonator with painted numbers at neck heel opening, hexagon flat flange, original grooved tension hoop with flat hooks and shoe-style lugs, pre-EPA Remo head, new custom Kershner-style engraved tailpiece, new armrest and vintage Grover pancake-style tuners from a Gibson RB-100. All hardware is nickel plated.
It's difficult to find a pre-war conversion at this price point. To add to that, this one has great tone and playability, without the extra heft of a full weight tone ring.
Will come shipped in a nice, vintage Superior hard-shell case.
