The Vintage Line banjos incorporate the classic features for which CMB is best known. The L Model is Lo Gordon’s signature banjo featuring a granadillo block tone rim, rolled brass tone ring and curly maple neck with matching dowel stick. I ordered this banjo in 2019 with an S scoop, a 19th fret, green diamond shaped inlay (looks white in photo) and stakes at 7 & 9. The photo is with a Renaissance head which gives a bright tone. Included is a John Baluch premium goat skin which will give a mellow tone. ( head change takes about 20 minutes.) It is very easy to play with the 1 3/8 nut and has lots of sustain, I can feel the 4th string base in my chest. It is in excellent condition over all and comes with the original case. $2100 plus shipping.
I’m offering it for sale because I just don’t play much anymore and when I do I prefer my 12”.
