Gibson TB-Granada 5-string conversion, Factory Order Number (FON) 8083-8, originally produced during July of the year 1925. Tube & plate flange construction and grooved tension hoop. Original spring and ball-bearing tone ring has been replaced by a 20-hole flathead brass tone ring. Has a Curtis McPeake sinker-mahogany bridge.
I have the appraisal document from Joe Spann signed by George Gruhn at Gruhn Guitars in Nashville on August 29th, 2022. I will provide it with the banjo.
This banjo has a gorgeous tone, must hear to appreciate. I will not ship and will accept cash only at time of delivery. I’m located in east Tennessee an hour south of Knoxville. I will be happy to negotiate a place where we can meet to make the transaction.
