***Genuine James Alan Shelton BANJO STRAP in Natural Finish, Excellent Cond. -- $45 plus $11 USPS Priority Mail***
Not much to tell here other than many years ago I commissioned the late-Mr. Shelton to make this strap for an unstained maple finish banjo that I then owned. Just by happenstance, however, I found this strap REALLY belonged on a walnut banjo of mine where the natural hues of the leather complemented the rich, dark walnut as an inviting accent, exhibiting a beautifully balanced look between leather & wood.
This strap is in excellent condition. It has been VERY lightly used and was made during a time when my back troubles began. It was then that I found sitting would be the prudent thing to do when playing banjo... and I've been sitting ever since! Hence, after little use, the strap was removed from my banjo, lovingly rolled up and placed in a drawer where it waited for many years, never to be enjoyed again... until NOW!
