1972 Ome Style XX resonator banjo. At 51 years old this one is in excellent playing condition and very good cosmetic condition. No modifications except for the head and Dotson bridge. The Double X features the spun tone ring, 2 concentric rings (maple/rosewood) on the bound resonator, abalone fret dots and scrolled peghead with planetary tuners. Frets are in very good condition. Rim has no delamination. Only superficial evidence of wear in the form of small indentations on the mahogany neck and resonator. Removable flange if you want an open back .Hard case included which I believe is original.
