A beautiful, perfectly preserved 1995 Stelling Master Flower (#4376). The Master Flower banjo from Geoff Stelling was the upgraded version of the popular Sunflower with added Fancy Figured Walnut neck and resonator with colorful purfling rings in the resonator, and bound peghead. Featuring the Tony Pass "Lost Forest” rim with wood reclaimed from the depths of Lake Superior, and of course the Stelling Patented tone ring.
It is a work of art and beautiful to view, but more importantly this banjo cuts like it should and has the wonderful Stelling tone and punch, and the ability to project when needed - with great tone and lots of growl. Has a Tony Pass "Lost Forest" rim which adds substantial depth of tone, especially in the lower registers. The highs are cleaner with less harsh overtones.
