This flange was on a banjo that appears to have been dropped at some point given similar damage on the resonator. There is no shortage of patina on the nickel plating, especially if you consider cracks or broken off segments to be patina. Please not the crack that is adjacent to the broken section. Thankfully all the broken off segments are still with the rest of the flange. There appears to be various adhesives stuck on the break areas, which for the most part didn’t hold.
As typical for these pot metal flanges, this one has some slight pull. I just recently took it off of a rim so thankfully it’s not out of round.
