9520-17, Hard to find, Walnut, OPF, 1930s Gibson TB2 conversion, very high quality matching neck by well known banjo maker and neck builder, Bill Hayes of Maine. Even though the letter of authenticity by Jim Mills, who probably converted this banjo, states that the neck is Walnut I believe, but am not certain, that it’s Mahogany stained to match the beautiful Walnut resonator. It has a growl that a Mahogany neck seems to support. Professionally fit Huber Vintage ring, Prucha flange, (original damaged flange included), matching FON resonator and rim, nice hard case, Jim Mills letter of authenticity.
