1926 Gibson Ball Bearing TB3 5 string conversion Banjo

Description
This is a Ball Bearing TB3 from 1926 which has been converted to a 5 string. This has a Mastertone style tone ring which is a top quality professional grade ring but we do not know who made the ring. The banjo pot has an original tension hoop, arm rest and tailpiece. The flange is new.
The neck and resonator are both mahogany and this has a rosewood fretboard with diamonds. We also don't know who built the neck but the neck is definitely a professional quality neck.
This is a great sounding and playing Pre War conversion Banjo. This also includes a hardshell case.
Condition
This banjo is in really good shape. The finish on the resonator is original and has a coat of light checking. The neck finish is in great shape. The fretboard and frets are clean all the way down and this has spikes at frets 7,9 and 10. The hardware is in great shape as well. The case is in very good condition with only light wear on the outside.
Set Up
This is set up with a new Remo head which is set to 90. This has a Snuffy Smith Bridge and new Huber strings. The banjo is a great example of a Pre War Gibson at a great price and is set up to maximize performance.
