1926 Gibson TB-2 shoe bracket rim, cut for long skirt flathead tone ring. Rim has all four L-brackets, Pat. Pending long nut coordinator rod and tailpiece bracket. The FON# 83xx-xx is stamped in the rim.
The resonator, by some twist of fate, bears the faint chalk FON# 83xx-xx. The resonator is not original to this pot, but apparently was in the same 1926 batch of TB-1's. Somehow, 96 years later, both pieces found their way to my house.
The diamond flange fits perfectly into the resonator, but the L-brackets are a little tight on the inside lip of the resonator. The buyer can adjust the bracket fit as desired. The resonator shows the normal checking of the finish, with only an incidental scratch shown in the photos.
