Here is a really nice 1926 Gibson TB-5 tenor banjo. It is in all original condition including the nice original gold plating and tuners with the real mother of pearl buttons. These were the top of the line and they only made a couple hundred of this model. This would make a beautiful 5-string conversion and could either be played as a "ball-bearing" or some install a "flat head conversion" tone ring on the original unaltered rim. I know of some that have plugged the holes and installed a new flat head tone ring in these and they sounded fantastic. There is a small section of binding missing on the bass side of the tenor neck that is shown in the photos. The price is $5795.00 plus shipping and insurance. It will ship in the prewar hard shell case and will be packed with great care. Feel free to ask if any questions. Thanks, Mike
