2003 Stelling Red Fox, serial number 5479 im the 2nd owner of this banjo and when i got it the buyer said it was a 2003, i actually think it could have been made in 2002 due to the serial number. This banjo has keith D tuners installed and they are in excellent condition, I purchased them new from bill keith and installed them, they have only been used a few times, the banjo comes with the original Stelling tuners, and original Stelling hardshell case. The fret ware is very little, this banjo is powerful, Ive always kept it in a display case and took care to wipe down all the metal parts after playing it. There was very minor tarnish on the arm rest when I got this banjo and the original owner got it with the intent to learn how to play and quickly gave up, the banjo sat in its case in his closet for many years until I purchased it. This banjo does not have the birch tony pass rim upgrade, its equipped with the standard stelling maple rim.
