Bought this a while back on the Hangout. Real nice vintage banjo. When I got it, I used the serial number to check the date of manufacture. Looks like 1934. No issues with it at all despite its age. Fretwork is good, sounds loud and clear.
I found out I have a nickel allergy so instead of modding a historical instrument, I'm looking to buy a cheaper one and swap out all the parts I can't use.
Comes with a case which is pretty beat. I'll make sure I pack it well though.
