This is an amazing longneck. The pot is Vega #100029, the 8th Vega made in 1960 and one of the last Tubaphone pots to have 28 brackets. The neck was custom made be Mark Hickler, one of the premier builders in the world. It has a John Balch Stern Tanning Co. head that has been tuned with Pocket Dial head tensioning tool. It has Grover tuning machines on the headstock and a Gotoh 5th string tuning machine.
It is in excellent condition with some slight signs of play, almost no fret wear and no visible dents or scratches. I have never played it outside my house and It has been stored in temp and humidity controlled conditions.
It will come with a hardshell case, a Deering leather strap, and the original metal armrest in the case.
