Description
This has a curly maple neck and resonator with a rosewood fretboard. There is some really attractive inlay on the fretboard along with binding on the neck and resonator.
The hardware is either nickel or chrome. In either case it is all original and that includes a 2 piece flange and mastertone style tone ring. This is definitely a quality banjo with professional appointments.
The case is the original case and is in really good shape.
Condition
The banjo is clean and has been detailed in our shop. We took the banjo apart and buffed and polished the metal and waxed the finish. This banjo is clean. The frets and fretboard are in great shape and there are spikes at 7 and 9. There was once a 5th string capo on this which left a couple of pin sized holes in the side of the neck.
The case is clean inside and out.
Set Up
This has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90. The bridge is a Sosebee and this has new Huber strings. This banjo can be used for gigging and recording and sounds great with good volume. This is your next banjo.
