Resonator removed from a recent Deering 'Boston' banjo. Resonator back features an interesting pattern grain of mahogany wood (a lot nicer than many other Boston banjos I've come across). The exterior finish on the back and sides is PERFECT -- no scratches, dents, or finish crazing of any kind. The interior side walls, on the other hand, have had a number of 'extra' holes to accommodate mounting on various banjos. Please note that all of these holes can be easily repaired if needed with the appropriate sized hardwood dowel rod and Tite-Bond glue.
NOTE: The heel of the Boston banjo's neck, from which this resonator was sourced, was made shorter than normal, consequently the neck notch on this resonator is shallower than what is found on most resonators. This is great news because it'll afford you the option of enlarging the resonator neck notch to whatever size you deem necessary.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The price of $95 is FIRM, and I am not entertaining any trades, unless you've got something truly extraordinary for me to consider!
