New old stock resonator purchased many years ago from master luthier and Banjo Hangout member Clancy Mullins (clancyc1). Resonator is straight-grained maple on the back and sides with a beautiful sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish applied. Finish is in perfect shape -- no scratches, dents, or finish crazing of any kind. NOTE: The neck notch has NOT been cut, nor has any mounting hardware been installed. If you're not handy doing such work, please enlist the aid of a qualified luthier or woodworker to assist you with it.
This resonator was meant for a project that never quite got off the ground. It was purchased from Clancy Mullins around the time my late-wife became ill. After her death I lost all interest in the project and, until now, the resonator has been stored in the back of a closet.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The price of $150 is FIRM, and I am not entertaining any trades (unless you've got something TRULY extraordinary for me to consider, that is).
