Description
This is a banjo that was made by Recording King and endorsed by Sonny Osborne. This banjo could be comparable to the Recording King Elite series, this is a quality instrument, and it is clean and set up and ready to go. Plus this has the original case.
This has a maple shell with a curly maple neck and resonator. The fretboard is rosewood with a nice inlay pattern and white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. The hardware is nickel and all original including a 20 hole tone ring and a one piece flange. This is absolutely a strong banjo at a great price and this is in remarkable shape. These have been discontinued and are somewhat rare on top of this being a really cool piece.
Condition
This is in gorgeous condition and has been cleaned at our shop. The hardware has been buffed and has a really nice shine. The finish is in great shape and has been waxed to a shine as well. The frets and fretboard are in really good shape and this has never had spikes or a 5th string capo installed. This is in fantastic shape with a clean original case.
Set Up
This has a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90. The bridge is a quality bridge and this has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. This banjo has a legend's name on a pro design at an affordable price. We have gone through this and this is prepared to operate at peak performance.
