1998 Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard 5 string Banjo

Description
This banjo is a copy of the banjo played by Earl Scruggs and is the best selling model of Gibson Banjo at Banjo Warehouse.
This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell with a curly maple neck and resonator. The fretboard is ebony with Hearts and Flowers and there is w/b/w binding on the neck and resonator. This has all original hardware including a Gibson USA one piece flange and a Gibson USA Kulesh Tone Ring. This banjo is gorgeous and has a type of pop and bang that only comes off of an Earl Scruggs Standard. This also includes an original hardshell case.
Condition
This is in fantastic shape and has been cleaned at our shop. The banjo has been disassembled and all of the hardware has been buffed to a shine. The finish is in good shape and has been waxed for a shine as well. There is some finish worn on the back of the neck near the headstock but that is purely cosmetic. The frets and fretboard are in good shape and there are spikes at frets 7,9, 10 and 12. This is in great shape and the original case is clean inside and out.
Set Up
This has been set up with a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90. The bridge is a Snuffy Smith bridge and this has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. If you are looking for a Scruggs Standard this banjo is cleaned up, set up and ready to go.
