GoldStar 1981 JD Crowe. Everyone reading this knows the legendary status of this model of which only 80 were made in 1981. It is in spectacular condition and is hands-down the best banjo I have ever played other than a few prewar flat head original five string banjos. I was at a jam session with an owner of a original Granada prewar flat head five string banjo and the owner was absolutely floored by the fact that this banjo sounded better.Replaced tail piece. It just doesn’t get any better than this and I’ve had them all, including Huber, Yates, and Gibson re-issue Granada’s. OHSC
