Repro violin-type pegs, tinted hard nylon. Knobbed or Maltese Cross style. Undrilled, will drill by request.
These are tinted with amber shellac, and the tint only penetrates about 0.5 mm. The shafts are sized to replicate old pegs and peghead holes....... if they don't fit and if you shave the pegs, you will probably expose untinted white nylon. They're about as strong as celluloid, will fracture if hit hard.
My supplier raised my price, plus I'm now using a little more labor-intensive preparation process. The result is an improvement on the old version of the pegs, but I'm raising the price. Set of 5 for $35
