My Ome North Star 11" is basically brand new. I purchased it from Music Emporium ($3,070) after playing it there and convincing myself that it was the right banjo for me. But after getting it home and playing it a bit in a less chaotic environment, I realized that it was too bright and resonant for my style. I've hardly touched it since.
It is an exquisitely handsome instrument—honestly one of the most beautiful banjos I've seen. The only modification I made was to replace the original head with a John Balch goat skin head. I'm including both that and the original head, along with the case.
